News

We had a very enjoyable Christmas lunch on December 4th and a chance to catch up with friends both old and new. The day was beautiful and we were able to really appreciate the wonderful views from the Eyemouth Clubhouse Restaurant. A successful raffle was held raising over £120 for our funds.

We held the first of our new season of Open Meetings on Wednesday 8th October with a fascinating talk on 'Scotland beneath the surface ' by Bruce Keith. Bruce is the author of a book by the same name detailing the diverse and surprising things that go on underneath our feet. As usual we had a good attendance but the doors are open to both members and non members.

Our next Open Meetings are as follows:

Wednesday 10th December - Postponed
Rachel Abbott, a wild food forager, will talk about fungi and the opportunities in seashore, fields and woodland.

This meeting has had to be postponed due to problems with ECC heating. We hope to arrange an alternative date for the talk next year.

The complete list of all this year's talks can be found on the Events page.

If you are interested in membership to attend our wider range of Groups just click the Welcome tab of this website.

.

Our  free to all Open Meetings are held at the Eyemouth Community Centre and start at 10.30 (refreshments from 10.00).
We hope to see you there ☺️
