When:	Monthly on Friday mornings 2nd Friday of each month.

BIRDWATCHING (David Hunter)
This is an informal Group for anyone with an interest in bird life whatever their level of experience.
On our monthly outings we travel to areas where birds would be expected and help each other to spot, identify and learn more about them. Stout footwear and weatherproof clothing advised, and don’t forget binoculars. No dogs please.

Second Friday of the month, mostly morning outings but two full day trips are planned in December and June.

Except on the full day trips, groups are limited to about twelve. If any destination is oversubscribed, a repeat visit may be possible on the third or fourth Friday.

16^th October* Mire Loch & Millar’s Moss, St Abbs

13^th November Skateraw

11^th December Musselburgh, River Esk & Lagoons (all day outing)

8^th January Belhaven Bay, West Barns

12^th February Holy Island (crossing 09.00 – 16.05, optional afternoon walk as well)

12^th March The Hirsel, Coldstream

16^th April* Allanton Woods

14^th May River Tweed (exact location tba)

11^th June North Berwick & sail to Bass Rock (all day outing)

*Note the October and April trips are on the third Friday due to leader’s other commitments.
